About Standard Security

A professional, vigilant and comprehensive security organisation serving industrial, corporate and residential clients across Delhi NCR since 1993.

Introduction

Who we are

We have the pleasure of introducing ourselves as a professional, vigilant and comprehensive security provider for industrial units and all types of corporate services. We function systematically to provide an impregnable security environment that keeps your organisation's material, equipment, information and building safe.

Besides guarding, we also supply office boys, maidservants, peons, drivers, labourers and other support staff. The company is registered under PASARA, EPF, ESI, Income Tax and GST.

Although the company started functioning in 1993, it is by virtue of professionalism, dedication, hard work and sincerity that we have established ourselves as one of the leading security companies in and around Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Our organisation consists of a dedicated and highly motivated team of experts drawn from retired Defence, Paramilitary, Police and civilian backgrounds as well as the open market. We also recruit English-speaking guards for MNC sites.

Our aim

Foolproof cover, seven days a week

We realise that our future depends on our ability to provide foolproof security cover — which we assure to our clients.

Experienced field leadership

We work round the clock on all seven days of the week with retired and experienced Defence, Police and Paramilitary officers, supported by young and dynamic field officers.

Proven personnel

Security personnel are provided with a proven track record of minimum 2–5 years of experience, good character and behaviour.

Statutory dues covered

Reporting time of guards includes mandatory dues such as ESI, EPF, insurance and GST — nothing is left off the invoice for you to discover later.

Uniform and turnout

Immaculate uniforms are provided by us for security and allied services staff, and can be supplied as per your choice.

Competitive rates

Our rates are competitive and quoted as per the Minimum Wages Act — transparent and legally correct.

Qualified recruitment

We recruit only Intermediate-qualified persons and above for guard and supervisor positions, with matriculation as the absolute minimum standard.

Organisation & supervision

How the company is run day to day

Day-to-day matters are looked after by the General Manager, assisted by the Manager (Operations), Manager (Administration), Manager (Personnel), Field Officers and Patrolling Supervisors. Overall control and supervision lies with the Director.

Because mobility is the lifeline of security and allied services, the company is equipped with adequate numbers of cars, vans, scooters and bicycles. A well-equipped control room with the latest wireless sets and telephones — identical to a police control room — is managed 24 hours a day, all seven days of the week.

  • Field officers and patrolling supervisors carry walkie-talkie sets linked to the control room
  • Allotted sites are visited frequently, with surprise checks by night and day
  • Men are rotated at regular intervals so they do not get familiar with your staff and workers
  • Wireless sets carry a 90 km range from Delhi
Training & recruitment

Nobody reaches your gate untrained

Recruitment of security guards is done by senior officers of the armed forces together with HR professionals. The minimum educational qualification is Matriculation and above. After selection, guards are sent to a training centre for a minimum of 15 days.

  1. General behaviour with staff and visitors

Bearing, courtesy and correct conduct with your employees, customers and visitors.

  2. Attending telephones and intercom

Handling calls and reception duties professionally where the post requires it.

  3. Basic fire-fighting drills

Types of extinguisher used on different classes of fire, and how to act in the first minutes.

  4. Parade training and physical drill

Physical readiness and discipline for any particular situation that may arise.

  5. Operation of lifts and generators

Safe operation of building equipment commonly placed under guard supervision.

On completion of training, guards undergo written and physical examinations. On the basis of individual performance they are graded A or B and sent for deployment accordingly. On-the-job training continues at the site itself.
